IT Support Intern

About the role#

The IT Support Intern will join the IT Corporate Services division within Global Enterprise Services. This role focuses on supporting enterprise-wide hardware, applications, and infrastructure to ensure daily business operations run smoothly. You will be part of the Global Technology Services team, working on-site to assist with technical support, device management, and inventory maintenance.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the Windows 11 project team to identify and replace incompatible devices.
• Image, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for end-users.
• Provide on-site technical support through Tech Bar coverage.
• Log calls in ServiceNow and open incident tickets on behalf of end-users.
• Maintain and update inventory assets.
• Assist with IT equipment desk moves and provide general enterprise support.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Information Security, Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Proficiency with Google Suite applications, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.
• Experience working with desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile hardware.
• Strong communication skills and a background in customer service.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment.

• Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
• Modality: This is an on-site role requiring five days per week in the office.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 23, 2026).
• Status: Paid, full-time internship.
