About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position for Winter 2027. You will work directly with a mentor at active job sites to manage the building process. This role requires 100% travel to project locations. You will coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure projects finish on time and meet quality standards.
What you'll do#
- Create project plans and schedules for upcoming work.
- Perform material take-offs and source necessary supplies.
- Prepare bid documents and find subcontractors.
- Oversee subcontractor work to ensure it meets safety and quality requirements.
- Use internal systems and tools to manage project tasks.
- Communicate project updates to clients, team members, and subcontractors.
What you'll need#
- Progressing toward a BS or Associate Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Prior experience in Construction Management.
- Knowledge of industrial facility design, engineering, and construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Project.
- Ability to work as a self-starter with limited supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certification is preferred.
