About the role#
We are looking for an AI Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on real AI systems and agent workflows used by financial institutions. You will be paired with an AI Engineering leader to focus on a single project throughout the three months. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Boulder, Colorado. Top performers may be invited to join the team full-time.
What you'll do#
- Build a production-grade, multi-agent copilot for financial advisors. This involves retrieving and reasoning over client data, analyzing portfolio risk, and generating personalized insights.
- Design end-to-end AI workflows for client discovery, investment research synthesis, portfolio construction, and meeting preparation.
- Architect a scalable multi-agent platform. You will work on orchestration engines, memory and state management, dynamic tool invocation, structured output validation, and automated evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Python.
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, APIs, or backend development through internships, coursework, or research.
