About the role#
As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will work on real-world projects including high-rise buildings, cultural institutions, sports venues, and transportation facilities. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while collaborating with engineers and architects on complex structural design solutions. This is a full-time, paid internship starting in Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
- Work alongside engineers and design professionals to support the delivery of coordinated project designs.
- Assist in preparing construction documents and drawings within a BIM environment.
- Gain practical experience with industry-standard tools, workflows, and documentation practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
- A strong academic record.
- A demonstrated interest in structural design and solving engineering problems.
- Familiarity with software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint, and Revit is preferred.

- Compensation: $21 - $36 per hour.
