About the role#
As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will work on real-world projects including high-rise buildings, sports venues, and transportation facilities. This full-time, paid internship takes place during Summer 2027 at our Portland, Maine office. You will work on-site alongside our team of engineers and architects.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and other design professionals to support the delivery of coordinated designs.
- Assist in preparing construction documents and drawings within a BIM environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
- A strong academic record.
- A clear interest in structural design and solving engineering problems.
- Experience with software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint, or Revit is helpful but not required.
