About the role#
As a Building Envelope Intern in our Restoration and Renewal Practice, you will gain hands-on experience evaluating and improving the performance of building envelopes and interior systems. You will work on a variety of restoration, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects. You will work alongside experienced architects and engineers to learn practical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in field inspections and data collection for building envelopes and architectural systems.
- Support assessments of system performance, code compliance, and feasibility studies for renovations and restoration design.
- Help prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports for project teams and clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, constructible solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Architecture.
- Strong academic record.
- Interest in building performance, envelope design, and renovation projects.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or architectural detailing tools is a plus.
