About the role#
Thornton Tomasetti is looking for a Bridge Engineer Intern to join our Transportation practice in New York for the Summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on the design, evaluation, and rehabilitation of transportation infrastructure.
What you'll do#
You will work on projects or specific project components from the initial design phase through construction. Your daily responsibilities include conducting analyses, developing calculations, and interpreting data. You will identify project problems and develop solutions while following our corporate quality control standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- You have an excellent academic record.
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer is helpful.
- Familiarity with BIM is a plus.
