About the role#
The Wyanoke Group is seeking a Sales & Business Development Intern for the Winter 2027 semester. This role supports the sales and business development team as they partner with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare advertising agency clients. You will gain exposure to the full sales process, from initial prospecting and research to client presentations, proposal development, and pipeline management.
What you'll do#
- Assist Business Development Strategists with account research, prospecting, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Research healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients to understand their marketing objectives and brands.
- Help prepare for client meetings by gathering research, drafting agendas, and organizing meeting materials.
- Develop client proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations.
- Maintain and organize proposal content, case studies, and client examples.
- Keep information in Salesforce or other CRM systems accurate and up-to-date.
- Support pipeline tracking and internal reporting.
- Monitor healthcare industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant news.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Product teams on business initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare, or Journalism.
- Strong interest in sales, media, advertising, or business development.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to conduct online research and synthesize information effectively.
- Professional, positive, and curious approach to learning.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business through internships, projects, or campus organizations is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot and experience with PowerPoint are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Thorofare, New Jersey.
- Schedule: This is an on-site position requiring work in the Thorofare office on Mondays and Tuesdays. The role requires 8-10 hours per week.
- Duration: One academic semester.
- Compensation: $15.92 per hour, with a possible increase at the start of the internship.
