About the role#
The UNM Children’s Campus is looking for a student employee to support the administrative, educational programming, communications, and technology needs of our early childhood education program. You will work with leadership and staff to strengthen program operations, family communication, and staff resources. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional setting while helping you develop skills in project coordination, digital communication, and organizational systems.
What you'll do#
- Support administrative, educational programming, communications, and technology tasks.
- Assist with projects that improve the presentation of the Children’s Campus.
- Help with time-sensitive projects as they arise.
- Participate in meetings and events.
- Interact with children, families, students, faculty, and staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree seeking program at UNM, at least half-time for fall and spring semesters.
- If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professionalism and discretion when working in a confidential environment.
- Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office/365, Google Workspace, Canva, or Adobe products.
- Ability to create professional documents and digital materials.
- Interest in early childhood education operations.
- Ability to receive direction, ask questions, and adjust work based on feedback.

- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: Paid at $19.00 per hour.
