The Integrated Communications Intern position is a paid, part-time role based in Columbus, Ohio. This internship offers hands-on experience with paid, earned, owned, and shared media channels while supporting active client relationships. The role requires 20-24 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analysis for new business, clients, and competitors.
- Develop media lists, influencer lists, editorial calendars, and media results reports.
- Write various materials including news releases, website copy, fact sheets, collateral copy, and social media content.
- Interact with local, trade, and national media, as well as influencers.
- Participate in internal team and client meetings.
- Perform social media and brand research and audits.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in fields such as Public Health, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Strong research, writing, organizational, and time management skills.
- A proven understanding of marketing and communications principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with a preference for proficiency in AP Style.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Columbus, Ohio. In-office attendance is required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- This role is part-time and paid at $18 per hour.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
