About the role#
The Park School is seeking an Athletics Operations Intern for the winter season, running from November through February. You will support our athletic program by working with students, coaches, staff, and families. This position requires availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, generally between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. There is a possibility to combine this role with an open coaching position.
What you'll do#
You will work with the Director of Athletics to manage the daily logistics of our sports program. Your tasks include:
- Helping with practice and game-day operations.
- Setting up and breaking down events.
- Operating the scoreboard and scorebook.
- Confirming transportation and officials for games.
- Managing the distribution and inventory of uniforms and equipment.
- Supporting program policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in a Sports Management or related program.
- Previous experience or a strong background in athletics.
- Professional conduct and reliable work habits.
- Ability to communicate well with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it upon hiring.
- Coaching experience at the youth, high school, or college level is preferred.

This internship is based in Brookline, Massachusetts. It is an on-site, paid position for Winter 2027.
