Software Engineer Intern

About the role#

The Software Engineer Intern program provides an immersive experience within the Technology, Data, AI, and Operations organization. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and enhance applications that support business operations and customer outcomes. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle while exploring emerging technologies such as generative AI and machine learning.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Leverage modern programming languages, development frameworks, and cloud technologies to build scalable solutions.
• Use AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and software quality.
• Analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions to improve application performance and security.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student expecting to graduate in May 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI tools, or a strong interest in applying emerging technologies to business challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team setting.
