About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in a high-voltage laboratory environment. You will work directly with our engineering and quality assurance teams to support testing procedures, create design models, and conduct inspections. This position focuses on precision and safety while providing exposure to electrical testing and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Create models and drawings for new design concepts.
- Conduct Dry AC Voltage Withstand tests and Impulse Testing.
- Perform Partial Discharge Measurements and Leak Check Testing.
- Use X-Ray imaging for component inspections.
- Carry out quality inspections and documentation.
- Support the Test Lab Engineer and Manager with daily operations.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department on technical projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to maintaining safe working practices in a high-voltage lab.
- Previous electrical experience is preferred.
- Experience in building, prototyping, or machining is preferred.
