About the role#
The Temporary Paid Intern will collaborate with programs and partners to gain professional work experience and develop technical skills within the non-profit sector. This position is open to students or individuals pursuing studies in Communications, Business Administration, or Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Conduct outreach activities to connect participants with essential services and resources.
- Provide customer service to clients and office visitors.
- Perform clerical duties, including filing and photocopying.
- Engage in job shadowing to learn industry-specific technical skills.
- Partner with internal departments to complete assigned tasks and projects.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- High School Diploma or GED/TASC is preferred.
