About the role#
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week internship with a one-year duration. You will join a team focused on creating content that encourages global engagement with family history. This role involves managing the translation and publication of blog articles across more than 20 languages.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and publish blog articles and translations using the Brightspot CMS.
- Develop a publishing calendar in coordination with in-country managers.
- Review and edit English content for international relevance and optimization.
- Train international staff on SEO and editorial best practices.
- Manage translation requests and track progress through tools like Monday.com.
- Support international content strategy campaigns, perform analytics, and conduct keyword research.
- Maintain documentation and filing systems to support team workflows.
- Assist with image sourcing and the creation of translated screenshots.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate (within one year) with a bachelor's degree in Communications, International Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Logistics, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in international content strategy and languages.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Fluency in at least one foreign language is preferred.
- Experience with a CMS like Brightspot or WordPress is a bonus.
- Translation experience or training is considered an asset.
- Note: Employment requires the candidate to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who is worthy of a temple recommend.
