Cloud Media Services Intern

About the role#

As a Cloud Media Services Intern, you will work within the Tencent Cloud Media Service business unit. This role focuses on supporting international audio and video solutions, including live streaming, media processing, and real-time rendering. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and collaborate with regional sales and architecture teams to drive business goals.

What you'll do#

• Serve as a point of contact for customers in the audio and video space, working closely with the regional sales team.
• Provide technical support for pre-sales consultations and Proof of Concept (PoC) verification services.
• Assist the regional architecture team in analyzing customer technology stacks and identifying specific needs for media scenarios.
• Translate customer requirements and technical needs into actionable feedback for the product development team.
• Participate in public online and offline industry presentations to share product capabilities and insights.
• Collaborate with channel and marketing teams to support partner empowerment, workshops, and product demonstrations.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with audio and video technologies, including live streaming, video on demand, encoding/decoding, and network transmission.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with technical decision-makers.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
• Experience in related industries or working with public clouds is considered a plus.

• Location: Bellevue, Washington.

• Employment type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $27.12 to $51.93 per hour.
• Benefits: Paid sick leave (1 hour per 30 hours worked), up to 13 paid holidays, and eligibility for company-sponsored medical plans for full-time interns.
