About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers an immersive, project-based experience in the energy and manufacturing industry. You will join a team focused on business-critical projects that contribute to process improvements, operational efficiency, and standardization. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and build a professional network. The program concludes with a presentation of your findings and recommendations to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead projects aimed at improving business and operational performance.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Help develop standard procedures, reports, and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
- Attend site visits, meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Present your project outcomes and recommendations at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical or operational data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial operations, and continuous improvement.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations include Houston, Bay City, and Conroe, Texas.
- Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
