Test Engineer (Intern)

About the role#

Teledyne Microwave Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer Intern to support the design, development, and implementation of testing methods for RF and microwave components. This role focuses on ensuring technical excellence across aerospace, defense, and communication systems through hands-on testing, data analysis, and process improvement.

What you'll do#

• Develop and debug automated test scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
• Design test fixtures, diagnostic programs, and equipment specifications for new products.
• Process test data, manage the test database, and analyze results to drive process enhancements.
• Collaborate on initiatives to improve quality, delivery performance, and manufacturing process control.
• Generate detailed test reports to document findings and provide technical recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for automation to streamline cycle times and enhance production yields.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a recent graduate.
• Completion of at least two years of relevant coursework.
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or equivalent software.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Must meet the criteria of a US Person (US Citizen, US National, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
