Operations Game Day Intern, University of Cincinnati

About the role#

This internship offers hands-on experience in the sports and hospitality industry at the University of Cincinnati. Interns support game day operations for football home games, representing the brand while ensuring a high-quality experience for guests at tailgate sites around Nippert Stadium.

What you'll do#

• Greet customers and guests warmly to provide an exceptional game day experience.
• Ensure the professional presentation of all tailgates by assisting with setup, including moving coolers, chairs, and signage according to site diagrams.
• Act as a point of contact for guests, including assisting with equipment transport and answering questions at site drop-off areas.
• Check in with guests throughout the event to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist the Event Manager and General Manager with day-of operational tasks such as managing supplies, equipment breakdown, and site organization.
• Maintain a clean and tidy site throughout the event to meet company standards.

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Current enrollment in or interest in fields such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or Kinesiology.

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
• Commitment: Interns are expected to be available for up to 6 Saturday home games, with shifts lasting 10-12 hours.
