This 10-week summer internship provides hands-on experience within the human resources department of a manufacturing and engineering company. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will assist with daily operations, data analysis, and talent acquisition initiatives while gaining exposure to HR systems and workforce analytics.
What you'll do#
- Assist with posting job openings and screening resumes.
- Support onboarding activities and the processing of new hire documentation.
- Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system.
- Track and report on HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, and time-to-fill.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and internal communications.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with progress midway through your education.
- A strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated interest in human resources and business performance.
- Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables and formulas; experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
