About the role#
Tandem helps companies browse, tour, and lease office space. We are looking for a writer to create content that goes beyond what AI can produce. You will spend your time finding stories, talking to people, and analyzing real data to build guides that help founders choose where their teams work.
What you'll do#
- Interview startup founders about their office search and talk to our team about their daily tours.
- Visit buildings and walk neighborhoods to write guides for founders.
- Analyze our database of office listings and pricing to write original articles.
- Write and publish content on our site and track how it performs.
- Use AI to generate first drafts and edit them to ensure the final piece is high quality.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college student in the Bay Area.
- You write clearly and enjoy the process.
- You are curious and comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and notice when information seems incorrect.
- An interest in startups, real estate, or cities is a plus, but no prior experience is required.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, requiring one day per week in our office.
- The position is 10-15 hours per week with a schedule that accommodates your classes.
- Pay is $35 per hour, starting with a paid 2-week trial.
