Product Manager Internship

About the role#

As a Product Manager Intern, you will join the Host Squad to support the development of core product experiences for fitness professionals, including gym owners, instructors, and community hosts. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate directly with Engineering, Design, and QA to drive product strategy and execution. You will own specific deliverables from end-to-end, contributing to the tools that enable fitness businesses to manage ticketing, memberships, and scheduling.

What you'll do#

• Drive improvements to core product features that impact revenue, retention, and daily operations for fitness professionals.
• Identify product gaps and failure states, proposing and prioritizing solutions to enhance user flows.
• Define and implement analytics for new features, synthesizing data to provide actionable insights.
• Conduct competitive analysis to inform product recommendations and roadmap sequencing.
• Manage backlog health by triaging issues, consolidating duplicates, and maintaining clear priorities.
• Support roadmap discussions by evaluating tradeoffs, dependencies, and effort-to-impact ratios.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an MBA, master's program, or a strong undergraduate program with relevant experience.
• Preferred background in product management, engineering, or experience within a fast-moving startup.
• Strong product instincts with a user-centered approach to design and problem-solving.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional written communication skills for creating clear specifications and updates.
• Academic background in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, Operations Management, or Mathematics.
