About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern at SWIVEL, you will work directly with our quality engineering teams. This role provides hands-on experience in software testing and automation. You will learn from professionals in the financial services industry while contributing to projects that impact our systems and tools.
What you'll do#
- Build systems to interface with SWIVEL clientele and create tools that remove repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with and shadow team members to expand your technical knowledge.
- Apply your academic knowledge to solve real-world problems.
- Assist with various ad hoc projects as they arise.
- Build awareness of the financial services industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Java and C# is preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and reliable follow up skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage your time in a deadline driven environment.
- A proactive approach to learning and getting things done.
- Professionalism and maturity.

- This position is located on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
- This is a paid, part-time internship with a rolling term.
