About the role#
Sunstar Americas, Inc. is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Schaumburg, Illinois facility. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term. You will work within our manufacturing environment to support daily operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members with routine tasks and ongoing projects.
- Identify projects that improve labor or machine efficiency.
- Collect, organize, and summarize data from internal and external sources.
- Create charts and pivot tables to identify trends and inconsistencies.
- Prepare reports and presentations to share findings with management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support shared objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of engineering concepts through coursework.
- Experience with research, data analysis, or problem solving.
- Familiarity with standard business or technical tools.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work well in a team.

- Location: Schaumburg, Illinois, USA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
