About the role#
The Finance Co-Op supports the finance department on various projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with the team to meet project goals and contribute to departmental success.
What you'll do#
- Prepare financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist the team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to find trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement financial models and tools.
- Create presentations for senior management.
- Collect and analyze data to support decision-making.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 3rd year or post-graduate student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Availability for a 16 month Co-Op contract.
- Strong organization and analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to set priorities and work well in a team or independently.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
