About the role#
Sun Chemical is looking for a Treasury Intern to join the Global Treasury Operations team in Cincinnati. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate treasury within a global organization. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work. The position includes a full-time summer program and continues as a part-time role during the academic year.
What you'll do#
- Process and post bank statement transactions.
- Support payment execution and daily treasury operations.
- Use global banking platforms and online systems.
- Assist with cash reporting and other treasury deliverables.
- Contribute to treasury projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global business partners.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or International Business. Freshman or sophomore students are preferred.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during academic semesters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Interest in corporate treasury, banking, or financial operations.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and GAAP.
- Interest in learning SAP and enterprise financial systems.
