About the role#
Stout is hiring for a Summer 2027 Intern within the Disputes, Claims, & Investigations group. You will work on engagements in a litigation setting, including forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, and the quantification of commercial damages or complex insurance claims. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Create financial models.
- Analyze financial statements.
- Review and organize received documents.
- Perform data entry.
- Conduct industry and company research.
- Complete quality control checks.
- Assist Analysts and Associates with ad-hoc tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Prior internship or extracurricular experience related to the field.
- Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

- The hourly rate is $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
