About the role#
The Stephens Insurance Summer Internship is a 10-week program based at our headquarters in Little Rock. You will rotate through various disciplines to understand how we manage risk and deliver insurance solutions. The program covers client services like claims, consulting, and program design, alongside firm operations such as finance and insurtech.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with client executives and specialists.
- Review insurance policies to build your analytical skills.
- Study the data infrastructure behind our risk management strategies.
- Join team meetings, client calls, and strategic planning sessions.
- Learn how brokers evaluate risk and build custom solutions.
- Prepare and deliver a capstone presentation to refine your communication skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, with a preference for rising seniors.
- A major in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented, curious, and collaborative approach to work.
- A self-starter mindset focused on solving problems.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
