About the role#
Starlite Building Services is offering a summer internship in Providence for 2027. This is a hands-on role where you will work with project teams on active construction sites. The internship provides an introduction to our operations and offers consideration for full-time employment after you graduate.
What you'll do#
- Track manpower, hours, and site tasks for field verification.
- Manage workforce compliance, including CPR, CCIP, and EEO reporting.
- Handle T&M slip tracking, pricing, and change order management.
- Maintain tool and equipment inventory.
- Assist with job cost labor audits.
- Shadow project managers during site visits and estimating walk-throughs.
- Update project documentation, including allowance trackers, histograms, PO logs, daily reports, time cards, and production trackers.
- Collect new hire paperwork and track background check submissions for field staff.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising Junior or Senior in a degree program such as Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships.
