About the role#
Starlite Building Services is hiring interns for the summer of 2027 in Boston. You will work on-site alongside our project teams to support active construction sites across New England. This role offers a hands-on introduction to our operations and project management processes. We consider interns for full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
You will support project teams with daily site operations and administrative tasks. Your work includes:
- Tracking manpower, hours, and tasks on site for field verification.
- Managing workforce compliance, including CPR, CCIP, and EEO reporting.
- Handling T&M slip tracking, pricing, and change order management.
- Maintaining inventory for tools and equipment.
- Assisting with job cost labor audits.
- Shadowing project managers on site visits and estimating walkthroughs.
- Updating project documentation such as allowance trackers, histograms, PO logs, daily reports, and production trackers.
- Processing new hire paperwork and tracking background check submissions.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or Senior student.
- You are pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- The ability to build strong relationships with team members.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The pay range is $24 to $27 per hour, depending on experience and project requirements.
- This position is on-site and does not offer sponsorship.
