About the role#
StFX Ancillary Services is seeking a Student Marketing Coordinator to support promotional efforts for the StFX Hotel, StFX Store, X-Ring Store, and Conference Services. This role focuses on increasing brand visibility and promoting the university as a destination for tourism and events.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute creative advertising campaigns that align with departmental goals.
- Manage and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
- Assist in the creation of high-quality promotional materials, including photos and videos.
- Analyze marketing needs and industry trends to recommend new engagement strategies.
- Organize marketing materials and track performance metrics to support campaign delivery.
- Provide support for live event coverage hosted by Conference Services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at StFX University.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekends.
- Marketing major preferred but not required.
- Photography or videography experience is considered an asset.
