About the role#
As an Analyst, you will serve as a core component of the research and strategy team, helping to build leadership teams for innovative companies. This role focuses on combining market research, technology, and human insight to identify executive talent. You will work alongside search professionals and engage with investors and founders across the venture capital, private equity, and public company ecosystems.
What you'll do#
- Develop research strategies and draft comprehensive reports outlining targeted industries and companies.
- Identify top-tier executives to ensure high-quality candidate flow for leadership searches.
- Utilize large language models (LLMs) to analyze market segments, competitive landscapes, and industry trends.
- Design and refine AI prompts to extract strategic insights regarding industries, companies, and executive structures.
- Maintain data integrity and quality for candidate and company records within internal databases.
- Act as a domain expert, contributing to the firm's overall industry knowledge.
What you'll need#
- A minimum of one year of experience in consulting, professional services, or a sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience using LLMs (such as ChatGPT or Gemini) to conduct strategic or tactical research for complex projects.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and the use of AI-assisted tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while working with diverse team styles.
- Familiarity with business research resources, specifically PitchBook and Crunchbase.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
