About the role#
As an Analyst at SPMB, you will combine research, technology, and human insight to help build leadership teams for innovative companies. You will collaborate with experienced search professionals and engage with senior executives, founders, and investors across venture capital, private equity, and public company ecosystems. This role requires a focus on market dynamics, leadership trends, and organizational strategy.
What you'll do#
- Develop research strategies and draft reports that outline targeted industries and companies.
- Identify top-tier executives to ensure high-quality candidate flow.
- Leverage large language models (LLMs) to analyze market segments, competitive landscapes, and new industries.
- Design AI prompts to extract strategic insights regarding companies and executive leadership.
- Map out functional breakdowns and roles within organizational structures.
- Ensure accurate data capture of candidate and company records within internal databases.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree.
- At least one year of experience in a consulting, professional services, or sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience using LLMs like ChatGPT or Gemini for strategic and tactical research.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-assisted tools.
- Familiarity with business research resources such as PitchBook and Crunchbase.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while working with diverse team styles.
