About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations within the construction industry. You will work alongside our accounting and project teams to support financial and administrative activities, helping maintain accurate and compliant accounting processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounts payable processes and research invoice-related correspondence.
- Support vendor and subcontractor payment requests.
- Maintain compliance documentation and ensure accurate recordkeeping across multiple projects.
- Participate in project accounting reviews and assist with month-end close activities.
- Reconcile project financial data.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
- A reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach to work.
- Familiarity with accounting or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is preferred, as is prior experience through coursework or projects.
