About the role#
Southwest Airlines is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. This program places students within the Marketing and Digital departments to support enablement initiatives. You will work on projects that drive customer engagement and revenue growth. This is a full-time, on-site internship based at our corporate campus in Dallas, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Develop and operationalize business cases to support strategic growth.
- Conduct research, competitive benchmarking, and customer data analysis.
- Partner with internal teams including Technology, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing.
- Support digital merchandising initiatives by maintaining content inventories and channel documentation.
- Identify opportunities for personalization and improved customer experiences.
- Participate in project planning and various learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology, Hospitality, Professional Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- At least 18 years of age with a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is preferred.
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Salesforce, or marketing technology is a plus.
- Previous experience in an aviation environment or analytics role is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas (on-site).
- Term: May 18 to August 8, 2027 (12 weeks).
- Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $21-$24 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Not available. You must have current authorization to work in the U.S.
