The Office of the Registrar at SAIT serves as the front line for student support, guiding learners from admission through to graduation. As a Student Support Assistant, you will act as a primary point of contact for students, prospective students, and staff, ensuring that academic records are maintained with integrity and that inquiries are handled with professionalism and care.
What you'll do#
- Respond to internal and external inquiries via telephone, email, online platforms, and the front service desk.
- Provide triaging support to ensure individuals are directed to the correct service area or information source.
- Maintain the integrity of the academic record in all actions and communications.
- Support the documentation and refinement of inquiry triage processes and service handoffs.
- Deliver service excellence through collaboration and innovation within a welcoming and inclusive environment.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current or future SAIT student actively registered in a program during the employment term.
- Strong problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Effective communication, de-escalation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and balance academic responsibilities with work commitments.
