About the role#
Southeastern College is hiring for the Federal College Work Study position. This part-time role supports the daily operations of the assigned department. You will help maintain office workflows and assist with general administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Answer routine inquiries from students, parents, and employees.
- Manage daily department maintenance and administrative tasks.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, and organizing.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Take on other related duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Demonstrated financial need and a stated interest in the work-study program.
- Current enrollment in at least 3 credit hours.
- Proficiency with personal computers and common software.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with problem analysis and resolution.
- Willingness to learn new software programs.
- Ability to share information effectively with others.
