About the role#
This position supports the Public Sector team with event logistics and meeting scheduling. The role sits at the intersection of field marketing and sales, helping execute event programs and executive meetings while gaining experience in how B2B marketing drives pipeline and revenue. You will manage operational tasks, coordinate across functions, and own a special project to be presented to stakeholders at the end of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate logistics for public sector events, conferences, roundtables, executive dinners, and hosted programs, including venue, catering, materials, and on-site setup.
- Schedule and manage meetings between the Public Sector sales team and prospects, customers, and partners.
- Build and maintain calendars, scheduling trackers, and logistics timelines.
- Track meeting status, attendee confirmations, and follow-up actions before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate with sales teams to align on meeting priorities and logistics needs.
- Facilitate handoffs after events by capturing meeting outcomes, next steps, and follow-up assignments.
- Assist with post-event reporting, including attendance, meetings held, and follow-up completion.
- Develop and deliver an executive-level presentation summarizing your project findings and recommendations at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams.
- Interest in B2B marketing, event marketing, account-based marketing, or sales-aligned pipeline generation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in event-driven situations.
- Proactive and execution-oriented mindset.
