About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old to introduce them to soccer through a program that emphasizes fun and education. The role is split between coaching sessions at various locations and supporting administrative tasks in our Burtonsville office. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term, running from August 17 to December 4.
What you'll do#
- Lead energetic soccer sessions for children at preschools, community centers, and parks.
- Assist with daily business operations in the office.
- Support marketing initiatives to reach local families.
- Help coordinate and run community events.
- Spend approximately 50% of your time coaching on the field and 50% in the office or at events.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in helping children grow through sports and fitness.
- To be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle for travel to coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work 30+ hours per week, including weekends.

- The role requires travel to coaching sites located 30 to 45 minutes from the office.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology are relevant to the work.
