About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience during the Fall 2026 term. You will work 30+ hours per week, with a hybrid schedule split between coaching sessions and administrative tasks. This is a paid, full-time position that requires weekend availability.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years.
- Support various marketing initiatives and business operations in the office.
- Assist with community events to promote youth sports development.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in positively impacting children's lives through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the Burtonsville, MD office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred, though soccer experience is not required.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Kinesiology.
Location & details#
This role is based in Fairfax, VA and Burtonsville, MD. The internship runs from August 17 to December 4, 2026. Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
