About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will work on technical tasks across product configuration, design, and testing functions while contributing to the production of aerospace products.
What you'll do#
- Create a standardized template and produce visual work instructions for production equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on product development and manufacturing tasks.
- Use measurement techniques, data analysis, and software skills to provide engineering solutions.
- Develop analysis tools and apply engineering theory.
- Work with the operational team to address equipment, operator safety, tooling, and procedures.
- Review engineering calculations, design models, and drawings for accuracy and functionality.
- Support continuous improvement projects and implementation activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science.
- Strong background in analytical modeling and material science.
- Ability to develop mathematical theory and validate it with test results.
- Proficiency in programming, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- A goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently or with a team.
