About the role#
SKDK is hiring interns for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in New York. We are looking for individuals with an interest in communications, political science, or journalism.
What you'll do#
You will support 5-6 client teams with daily operations. Your tasks include:
- Developing and sharing daily press clips.
- Building press lists of reporters, editors, producers, and bookers.
- Researching various policy issues.
- Taking notes during internal and client meetings.
- Providing media monitoring and crisis response support.
- Drafting press releases, social media content, and pitches.
- Assisting with special projects.
What you'll need#

Location & details#
This role is located in New York, New York. It is an on-site position. The pay rate is $18.40 per hour. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
