About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work under direct supervision to support our project teams. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction operations, including engineering, estimating, safety, and finance. You will receive mentorship while contributing to projects that impact the community.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project tasks.
- Gather and distribute project information to relevant team members.
- Coordinate various project activities under direct supervision.
- Perform accounting and estimating functions with assistance.
- Complete assigned duties in a timely and professional manner.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic construction project phases.
- Proficiency in mathematics, specifically geometry and basic algebra.
- Experience with computer software such as MS Office, HCSS, or CGC.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
