About the role#
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a motivated student for the Fall 2026 IT Co-Op program. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals on real-world projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting day-to-day IT operations, collaborating on infrastructure projects, and assisting with various technology initiatives across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist in reviewing and documenting telephony systems and configurations to support operational efficiency.
- Support Wi-Fi upgrade efforts through documentation, testing, and deployment assistance.
- Contribute to infrastructure reviews aimed at improving system redundancy and reliability.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 user and production support by addressing hardware and software issues.
- Assist with additional projects and tasks as they arise within the Technology department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of networking, databases, and programming languages including Python, Java, and SQL.
- Experience troubleshooting IT issues and working with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, cloud platforms, and IT support tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
