About the role#
The CAD Operator Co-Op supports the daily operations of the Bloomington facility by creating, editing, and managing technical drawings. These documents are essential for demonstrating regulatory compliance and providing clear instructions for manufacturing operators. This role involves working closely with industry professionals on projects that contribute directly to clinical research and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Create and revise electronic drawings using AutoCAD, including manufacturing equipment, processes, machine assemblies, and facility layouts.
- Update and maintain departmental drawing binders.
- Print, file, and scan drawings continuously to keep the Controlled Document System current.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
What you'll need#
- Associate degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Computer Aided Design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to use enterprise software such as JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, or Trackwise.
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to sit for long hours, with some periods of walking or standing.
