About the role#
This internship supports the application testing of architectural coatings and the analysis of incoming roof samples. You will assist with research and development for new product testing. This role involves hands on work that supports daily operations and sales strategy.
What you'll do#
- Perform mathematical calculations using computers or calculators.
- Prepare samples and conduct statistical analysis of lab data.
- Assemble, disassemble, and maintain plant equipment.
- Record data following manufacturing protocols.
- Participate in plant planning and strategy sessions.
- Perform the physical duties required for the position.
What you'll need#
- At least one semester of prior lab experience.
- A BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Hands on experience with lab equipment and related software.
- Strong attention to detail and good computer skills.
- Ability to organize time and manage multiple routine tasks.
- Ability to communicate observations, test results, and experimental details clearly.
- A customer focused mindset.

- Compensation: Paid internship at $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.
