About the role#
Silverado Contractors, Inc. offers a summer internship for students in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. This full-time position provides experience in project management and field operations. You will work directly with project teams to support daily activities and deliverables.
What you'll do#
- Assist with field condition evaluations and acceptance testing.
- Support quality assurance and quality control for materials testing.
- Review project drawings and coordinate RFIs and contract changes.
- Track quantities and analyze productivity to improve operational efficiency.
- Help prepare and update project schedules.
- Provide document control for submittals and design releases.
- Assist with project layout and verify work conforms to specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and project management software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capacity to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
