About the role#
The UniverCity Internship Program offers a multi-week experience for students to work in frontline or leadership roles across various divisions, including Attractions Operations, Crafts Apprenticeships, Entertainment & Events, Food & Beverage Management, Marketing, Merchandise & Retail Management, and Human Resources. You will engage with leadership, work on projects to improve the guest experience, and build connections with peers and mentors. We determine your specific placement based on your skills, experience, and interests.
What you'll do#
- Learn scheduling, time-keeping, and performance review procedures.
- Assist with written communications and support Supervisors and Team Leads with various projects.
- Help create and implement improvements in safety, guest excellence, profit contribution, and job satisfaction.
- Contribute to team-centered projects such as surveys, appreciation events, team outings, and company events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or technical school degree program in a related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to prioritize work, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changes easily.
- A professional appearance and the ability to work in a busy environment.
- A commitment to our Lead with Love principles, which include being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, and dedicated.
- A genuine, friendly attitude and a focus on guest needs.
Location & details#
- Location: Branson, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 through August 13).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
