    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside industry experts on real projects within our aerospace and defense operations. This role focuses on gaining practical experience through direct involvement in technical assignments, workshops, and mentorship.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to team objectives by completing assigned technical tasks.
    • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
    • Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and goals.
    • Perform hands-on technical work assignments.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school.
    • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Ability to work in a laboratory or workshop environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
