About the role#
This internship is a full-time summer 2027 program based in Hagerstown, Maryland. You will work within the Mission Solutions and Technologies business area. The role provides hands-on experience in an aerospace and defense environment while you work alongside industry professionals on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Attend planning meetings to track project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
- Perform hands-on technical work to build practical skills.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Status as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
