About the role#
Service Wire Company is hiring an HR intern to support our team in Culloden. You will help ensure accuracy in our personnel records and assist with daily administrative tasks. This role provides logistical support to the HR department and helps us maintain compliance with labor practices.
What you'll do#
- Enter confidential information into company systems.
- Assist with recruiting by reviewing resumes and conducting phone screens.
- File employment forms and maintain records.
- Analyze key data points to help lead department initiatives.
- Share your ideas and feedback during team meetings.
- Provide general support to office staff and handle other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program related to People or Human Resources.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well with internal and external customers.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Culloden, West Virginia.
- This is a paid internship.
- Work is limited to a maximum of 28 hours per week.
- This is a rolling term position.
